Re: Fw: Janice & Mary - Re: [boxer lovers] Re: where to find a boxer puppy

This was something that I just kept waiting for someone else to respond to
and I didn't see anyone else squirming and just had to bring this
up.....especially for the new litter that was brought up. I don't trust
someone who "has to give up their dog because of a move" I'm a landlord and
I'm pet friendly even if I don't like their type of pet.
Perhaps the preference of the person in question is just to have boxer
puppies and doesn't want them when they become adults or
teenagers.....whatever.

Fw: Janice & Mary - Re: [boxer lovers] Re: where to find a boxer puppy

No it is very hard for Rachel to bite her lip.  I have known her for many years.  She has devoted much of her life to Boxer Rescue.  She has seen the results of bad owners first hand.  She has shed many tears for the dogs they have rescued that have went to the Rainbow Bridge before they found a forever home.  I could go on forever about Rachel and all the folks that work in rescue.

Thank YOU Janice!  I've been biting my tongue (finger slapping) ever since that woman posted.  As Mary can tell you, that's not something that is easy for me to do, right Mary????  sigh:::  She'd have to have a whole lot better story than what she told us on the group to adopt from GOBR, that's for darn sure!

Very good point Janice. I would certainly want to know more about
circumstances with other Boxer. When I consider a home for my pups I want it
to be a forever home. I want the new owners to send me pictures and keep in
contact with me for the life of the dog. I am so lucky to have found these
people for my pups.

[boxer lovers] Re: where to find a boxer puppy

I agree . This situation males me nervous too . I got my boxer and already he had x rays because he damaged his leg and now a heart murmur . But he stays and I hope lives a long happy life with his 2 cocker sisters, whom  he adores.  When you adopt a dog it's  forever not  only

'till it's convenient.
