From what I have been told this doxie will not be put on the adoption floor.

I know this is a long shot, but I just wanted to cover my bases…  We received a 2 year old dachshund mix (looks pretty much like a dachshund but he's larger, maybe 20-25 pounds).  He was originally adopted from James Brennan Humane Society about a year ago (they are unable to take him back).  They adopted him with another dog, who they also surrendered.  The reason for surrender was kind of vague – "not what we expected" was what she kept saying.  The dachshund mix did bite someone back in December – she said she had a lot of family over for the holidays and someone (an adult) went over his head to pet him.  It did break skin, but was not serious.  There was a question as to whether he had bitten again (she told me no, but originally gave the impression to another staff member that he had) so I'm not quite sure.  It was all a little shady.

Anyway, I just wanted to ask if you would be able to take this guy in?

Thanks!
