Hiya,
There is an item called a Thundershirt it really helps calm dogs down during thunderstorms and also during fireworks, another called a Calming Cap, which goes over their heads and calms them dowwn too. I also recommend DAP, Dog Appeasing Pheramone, works really well to calm even the most anxious of canines. The Thundershirt and Calming Cap are available online and the DAP, Dog Appeasing Pheramone is available from most Vets.
