Working with Reactive Dogs: Part 1
Does your dog have "outbursts" of barking, growling and spinning when he catches sight of other dogs? If your dog just can't watch without reacting, this seminar is for you!
In this first seminar, Dee will teach you how to maintain control of your dog in ALL situations. She will show you how to manage situations for safety and calmness.
Dee's process will change your dog's response to stimulus. She utilizes desensitizing, self control, relaxation, familiarization, confidence exercises and will explain the importance in reactive situations for you to be relaxed and not stressed. The use of touch, massage, specific exercises, management of the environment and lifestyle to achieve this will be discussed.

Dee will build upon exercises taught during the morning seminar to obtain self control in all situations. Working With Reactive Dogs: Part 2 includes:
· leash handling skills
· counter conditioning
· self control
· recall work
· eye contact exercises
· find it games
· classic conditioning your dog to "good things happen" when encountering their particular reactive situations
Dee will continue to show you how to implement specific exercises and management of the environment and lifestyle to ultimately achieve a non-reactive dog.
