I find it hard to understand a five week old puppy being laid on by its mother and killed. At five weeks most puppies are being weaned and their mothers don't really want to be around them since they have teeth . Usually you are trying to dry the mother milk up and restrict the moms time with them. As for not returning the money, that is wrong. The puppy was in the care of the breeder when it died. The breeder could not deliver the puppy you purchased at the time the sale was to happen. Full refund should be given.
