RE: [boxer lovers] no puppy no refund

A reputable breeder would not do that.  Who was this person?  Did you have any kind of contract?  Sounds odd the mother could lay on a 5 week old puppy and kill it.

Subject: [boxer lovers] no puppy no refund

Hi guys, I wonder if anyone can give me some help or advice.  I lost my Beautiful Mayhem in Sept of 14 and then my Darling Tovi succumbed to cancer this Christmas past. After Mayhem died, when Tovi was ready, we adopted a shelter boxer. We were planning to buy  a puppy this winter or spring.

We thought we had found a puppy. He was beautiful in the pictures. I sent the breeder payment anticipating bringing the puppy home in early March. On Jan 30th, I broke my back and had a seizure. I spent the last several weeks in hospital. During the first few weeks, I heard nothing from my breeder. When I finally did, she told me my puppy had been killed when the mother dog rolled over on him and suffocated him (at 5 weeks). When I asked when she would send my refund, I was told she didn't offer refunds.

What would you all do in this situation?
