I have 3 senior boxer rescues. One of them, Gemini, had a bad reaction to a bite, spder we think. Her poor head blew up like a basketball. I do mean it looked like a basketball. She is a brkndle ad her nose didn't even stick out. Emergemcy vet gave her IV Benadryl. And I then had to give her the pills for a couple of days.
My son has a all white boxer who gets a reaction to beef. He gets hives and had to be taken to the vet right away.
