Considering how my dogs were so "Yes, yesterday I liked that kibble, today I don't" when I was spending a small fortune on prepared food, once I went raw, I don't even buy treats (well, that and most treats are made with stuff one or both of the darlings shouldn't have), let alone mix in kibble.
Back in my "showing" days, I used to use boiled liver as "bait" to get the dogs to perk up for the judge (and as a reward for doing well). So now for treats I find some nice think slices of liver, boil it until it's good and solid. Then I cut into bite size pieces and use that as a treat.
