RE: [boxer lovers] Re: Crate Size for Adult Boxer

There really is no way to know unless you had someone look at your dog and his parents. Boxers range in size from 50 pounds to 100 pounds. Ask your vet how large he thinks your pup will grow and get the crate for the next size up. Sorry I can't give you a better answer but I have had dogs at every place in that 50 – 100 range in rescue.

So what's the right size, Large or X-Large?

My puppy is quickly outgrowing the medium cage and I want to make sure I buy the correct size.  Since most female adult boxers are 24" at the shoulders, I imagine that, when seated, their head would be more than 25" high.  However, I don't want to buy one that's too big if the Large is sufficient.
