Hi Devon,
It could be separation anxiety or bored dog, but I’m certain there is a way to help her. And yes, they do know when they do something wrong. I have to make certain that the dirty laundry basket is closed in the closet because Gabby still cannot control herself with panties. I find it and she just cowers in utter shame because she knows it’s a big NO. I do believe that dogs want to be good and I believe that your girl is no exception. She may just need crate training? A good trainer will be able to help you. I don’t like the mean guys either and would never let one of those type anywhere near my dogs.
Are you anywhere near Farmington? This Cindy Martin came up in a search and when I went to her FB page the first thing I see is that she has shared a post made by my trainer out here in CA. https://www.karenpryoracademy.com/user/480

Sorry, it is hard in writing to put down the whole story and not write a book. I must say the really bad antics were also there when she was a puppy, took me two years to get her over it, and honestly, not sure I really did, it could just be that I retired and stayed home more so she didn't have as many opportunities.
All the bad things she does now, she has done before. Except the gate and deck trick.
Just weird she had stopped (mostly) a year ago, but picked back up at new house, doing it almost everytime I leave.
I do leave more here and stay gone,, she is an opportunist,, lol,, and she gets more chances..
Somehow I dont feel it is anxiety, but can't tell you why exactly. And I don't believe she doesn't know or doesn't remember she did something wrong, she always hides when she does something wrong. And cowers when I just show her the item she chewed.
I can't imagine what kind of training will fix her when she is petfectly obedient except when no one is around.
I will talk to vet about pills, and look again for trainer, check out daycares.. I'm in northwest arkansas, would like to know if there are any here except for the mean guy.
I can't afford to spend money for nothing so,, she is only going to get a few more tries before I give up. I know she adores me as I do her, she makes me smile everyday, and is so special in so many ways, there just has to be a way to fix this.
I will also try the idea of leaving just for awhile,, and increasing it.. any suggestion s on how to handle it when I come home and find she had chewed up something. I feel that is the key,, that iz when I need to do ... something.. but what?
People say you can't discipline them cause they don't know they've dobe any thing, not sure I believe that, but if you do nothing,, how can you fix it?
Your dogs sound wonderful. Live vids of Zeus, thanks for sharing. He is a big, beautiful dog, and he is a boxer, which means he is smart, brave and intelligent. He will make a wonderful companion. By the way, I should mention that although Storm came akc registered, im pretty sure she is not fullblood boxer, which may be part of my problem w her. Never had a boxer be so much trouble. Lol
