RE: [boxer lovers] boxer talk

It can be. You need to find a way to put her in her place over this one. Make it clear to her that she has no place to make a decision on these things.

Having said that, I have always maintained that my dogs are, really, the self appointed guardians of my children. This is not really a problem and, understand my youngest is now 20. But, it is interesting, when my daughter and my husband are horsing around, pestering one another and laughing and wrestling, the dogs will have something to say about it and are never quite sure if they should ‘step in’ and protect the daughter. Of course, at the dog’s current ages, they know that this is all good natured fun and they join in by jumping around and barking encouragingly. They do, however, know their places well enough that they won’t join in until invited but, they are always invited at some point.

Is jealousy typical for boxers? I'm sorry for TMI, but I cannot even slightly hug my boyfriend when we are in the house. And I think she wants him more then me lol.
