RE: [boxer lovers] Re: URGENT: Boxer Boy in Need of a Forever Home in Dublin, Californi

Hi Shan,

Oh, my heart goes out to this boy. Sachi Animal Rescue started a NorCal arm.
I'm thinking they might be able to help you find the perfect home for him.
http://www.sachianimalrescue.com/ They are such a wonderful group. Their
facebook page is fun too as the always take what they call the "break out"
video of the dogs when they pull them from the shelter.

Hi Everyone,

The saga continues. Rambo is back with Lindsey today. The trial family said
they'd had a boxer before but we're strangely unprepared for him. They
couldn't commit to the poor boy. :( He's not leash trained and needs some
rehab after living in a condo garage for most of his 1 1/2 years. The thing
is, he just needs love and guidance. He has had too little of both in his
young life. He'll be a bit of a project for someone, but one that will pay
off innumerably.

Despite his deprived upbringing, he is just a major love. He's still getting
along well with Lindsey's brood of 4 dogs and 1 cat. We both feel that the
perfect situation for him would be in a home where he's an "only child"
because he needs lots of guidance. He wants to be someone's co-pilot. Once
he trusts that he's safe he'll only want to please you.

This is really a dire situation because the original "family" has done him
such a disservice. However, he just needs a chance. Lindsey has so
graciously taken him and what hasn't been mentioned yet is she is pregnant,
due in May!!!! That's the kind of person she is. She could not let this boy
suffer once she saw his situation. So, I'm doing my best to help her AND
Rambo (I'd love to see someone give him a more fitting name as well. Doesn't
suit this little sweetie).

Anyway, please reach out to Lindsey or I if you want to be this boy's angel.
He just needs a chance.

Thanks again,
-Shana
