Re: Per food feedback

Look for meat in first at least two ingredients no by products- no corn - science diet is not on the list as a high quality food - if you look at the way the dog food is laid out in a good diet food store you will see the higher end ( yes more $ ) grouped and then they start going down in quality. Yes it costs more but you will feed less, have less poop because the dog "uses" more of the food and you will save on potential health issues related to food, and quite possibly extend your pets life. Buy the most expensive food you can afford. You can also supplement with veggies , I steam broccoli cauliflower and carrots for our doxie Izzie this is great for her health and also cuts down the amt of kibble she gets. She is eating coastal catch but it has become hard to get so prob changing to Instinct a possibility.
Look at the ingredient list that is your big source of info. BY PRODUCTS NO /named protein meat sources / no corn and the way it's grouped in the isle. Remember any change must be done slowly so no tummy upset. Good luck :)
