Such a hard note to write...
Brenda and JR, Otto's Foster Parents, held the abandoned, severely
emaciated Boxer boy who we all fondly nicknamed OMG, as he left this
world and headed to the Rainbow Bridge a little earlier this
afternoon. He was worse this week than when he went last time. This
time his body wouldn't even absorb the fluids that were being put in
by IV. He was more dehydrated when he left for the Bridge than he
was when he went in to the vet clinic yesterday afternoon.
Everyone tried so hard to help this boy get better. It wasn't just
us in GOBR, people all over the world, yes world, donated funds and
sent prayers and Boxer healing vibes Otto's way, but it just wasn't
enough to bring him through what had been done before he came to us in GOBR.
Otto knew he was loved dearly, even by those he never met. For that
he and all of us in GOBR are eternally grateful.
