I am with you on this one Lisa, my Brit during chemo had to take prednisone, which later caused her to go into CRF to which there is no cure, we lost her after a 19 month battle, for which the vet said we would loose her in 3. I later used tagament/benadryl on her and the "lump" went away. Prednisone is the cure all drug with horrible side effects when used on a long term basis, Brit took it for 8. I also have a friend who used the tagament/benadryl and Reign also had a lump go away. I have never heard of any side effects from this. Sherry also checked with her vet before starting this on Reign and she said it can't hurt. I have seen first hand what prednisone can cause, and its not pretty.

So Tagamet has "bad side effects" but prednisone doesn't?
