I have a tweenie doxie. She gets approx 1/2 to 2/3 c a day. She is 18 lbs and standard for her is between 18 and 22.
We use older dog food for all the older dogs, but other than that not a lot special.
I have no food recommendations due to our special needs pups having to have special foods.
The veggie for treats is a great idea. My doxie LOVES carrots. And I do make homemade treats, occasionally.
