Re: [boxer lovers] Hi all!

Karon,

I am not being smart alect here, I am seriously wondering...is there a why to know you don't have any genetic defect SOMEWHERE down the line that could reappear in one of your puppies? I mean is there a limit of generations without any defects that would be considered a a pure line... or can a defect show up from as many as ...say ... 10 generations back? I use to believe from something I read that after 7 generations of pure bred dogs the line was pure...but that does not mean the genetic genes are not able to show up anymore...does it?
