Hi Gina - welcome to our group and the "wonderful world of boxers".... I have
to admit that our Titan does get a limited amount of table food but I have to
tell you honestly- our vet is totally, absolutely 100% opposed to it. He does
not even want us to use a piece of cheese to administer a pill. He is says
that he has seen so many dogs with pancreatitis - he does not want to see our
dog in there for that.....
That being said, we are guilty.....yikes....
This is our seventh boxer and I'm afraid they all have had table food from time
to time. Our problem is those big brown eyes that sit at the edge of the table
with the look.... "mom, how can you eat all that and not give me any????"
That's where we fell down in our training....

My name is Gina M. and I was so excited to find this group and to know how much
other people love their boxers! I have a boxer named Tyson, and hes about a year
and four months. I was wondering if any of you give your boxers any table food?
I know that foods such as grapes, chocolate, raisins, etc are bad for them so I
stay away. I do sometimes give him chicken or eggs. Do you think this is ok?
