check boxer rescues, they are great. it may take some time paper work. but be patient. I tried a rescue, and just could not wait (our dog of 13 ) passed away. and it was just too uncomfortable not having a dog in the house I bought a boxer on line had her shipped and the day i went to pick up the boxer at the airport, was the same day I had gotten a email from the rescue saying i was approved... It feels like you have to wait long but you are probably better off trying a rescue, they already know what the dog is like. and if there are any medical issues.... also I have 3 young boys and I would never have anything but a boxer for children... they are the best kind of dog for kids. when ever my 7 year old crys or is upset our boxer Daisy is the first to his side... we have a fireplace, and when i am freezing, I will sit on the brick next to it. Daisy gets upset and will try to pull me away with her paws. they are so smart for a dog.

Hi.
I am doing research on adopting or looking at breeders, I have not found
either here on Long Island NY.
My husband & I are looking for a female puppy, we want a female because our
male shar pei Curtis does
Not like male dogs, Curtis is neutered. Our daughter will be 3 at the end
of March & so far I see a lot of rescues
Will not adopt an older boxer to a family with a child under 5.
Does anyone have any advice? We are not in a rush for a puppy, we were
hoping to have a little bundle of puppy
