Couple of things to think about. First. She may be feeling colder
(especially at night) so snuggling with you.

It's possible some animal or even a person has been hanging around your
home and she's feeling protective.

Have you been gone more or longer than usual? She may be feeling some
separation.

And thanks, everyone, for your kind words about Coop. He's sorely missed.
