Both of these pups are in Jackson, AL (Clarke Co). Lisa Sokoll rescued Jackie, the black and tan, from the Jackson Pound. Lisa said Jackie is probably 6-9 months old. Jackie has a broken tail (needs amputation) and an umbilical hernia. The Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic can do the surgeries for $130. Lisa would like to find a rescue to take Jackie so she can help pull more from the pound. The other dachshund, no name, is at Lisa's vet and has a severe case of demodex. The owner brought the dog in to be euthanized. The vet contacted Lisa with a plea for help.
If you know anyone that can help either one of these, please let me know. Tammy is going to Lisa's tomorrow to pick up a couple dogs from the Jackson Pound and deliver a dog going to foster care in Mobile. So Tammy could help with transport this way if needed.
