PLEASE HELP US SAVE MARCI    Saving Marci - URGENT - LIFE & DEATH SITUATION   Everyone was hoping that after the CT scan Marci received that her eye issues would be over. Unfortunately that is not the case. The clinic who did the CT scan asked that Marci be given time to see if the retina would reattach and with antibiotics the abscess would heal. They also scheduled a needle guided biopsy because there is suspicion of possible cancer. Unfortunately Marci can not wait for the biopsy. Her eye has gone from bad to worse and she went back to her specialist and emergency surgery needs to be done. If Marci does not receive this surgery she will need to be euthanized as it is not fair to Marci to continue living like this and constantly going to the vet.  The surgery cost & her exam is $2300 since it is very involved. No one except this specialist is willing to do the surgery and he performed eye surgery on one of our dogs before and is the best.  Some may disagree with this approach saying Marci should be euthanized because her total vetting with this surgery will top $4500 but to those people I can only say that they have not met Marci and seen the joy she brings to everyone. No mama should have to take care of her babies in a metal cage in a shelter full with other dogs. Its stressful, dangerous due to disease, and we do not want that for her. Help us rescue Mama Tiny and her new babies!  If you think you can help with the vetting and transport costs that would be very much appreciated. The entire family will need to be pulled from the shelter and carefully transported to safety. Mommy will need to be spayed and updated on her shots and her babies will need 3 rounds of shots, deworming, and altering.
