Re: [boxer lovers] OT/Joplin, Mo. was hit by an F4 tornado yesterday

Here in NE Arkansas we are getting the awlful thunder, lightning, wind and rain too...have been for several days... We were under a tornado warning yesterday around 2:00p.m. but thank God it did not touch ground here....That is happening often besides flood watches...
The weather has been really strange this spring.
So much rain and so fast and it seems to just keep coming with little reprieve...everything is soaked to the core and has no where to go...the rivers are flooded and making a mess...  We are high on a mountain so we have not gotten flooded but we have been stranded at times because the hwys and roads are water covered by the creeks and rivers.....and the ground does not have time to dry off before we get more rain so everything is mush most of the time...It seems each season has more and more problems to face.  :O(  I use to look forward to the Spring but now I don't know any more...It seems it is just surviving it all that is the focus....
Take care everyone,

Annette

I'm in Joplin.   It is located right on the MO/OK/KS line.  Yes, we are getting

pelted with yet another Thunderstorm right now.

What part of Missouri are you? I'm south east of Springfield. We've been having

storms all day. The thunder is bad as it sounds like a tornado, in the country

we have no warning. God bless us all.

My family are all fine from the storms. Yes, it was terrible. The death toll

just keeps rising and we are getting another thunderstorm today. One of the

hospitals was hit hard, as was the high school , Walmarts and Home Depot. Many

are still missing and phone line have been down so its hard to get ahold of

everyone you need to get hold of.

HI,

I lived in Joplin and Neosho for 16 years and some of my family still lives

there but they are ok... I was thinking of

.Becky Bard <dreamcatcher64801@yahoo.com I know she lives near or in Joplin...

Hoping she is ok... My family ..... 1 daughter, 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson,

and 2 great grand babies live in north Joplin...they are ok...and the rest of

the family live in Neosho. ( 17 miles south of Joplin) and are ok too. Thank

God!!

89 people were found dead so far and many injured...More storms are making the

recovery difficult. Praying for all that are going through this.....
