Hello my fellow Boxer Lovers,
I haven’t really been active on any of my yahoo groups since my beloved Maggie earned her wings in 2014. In her honor we started dedicating more time to Boxer rescue. We wear a lot hats in the rescue including fostering seniors, special needs and hospice cases as well help with the fundraising. Several times a year I hold an online silent auction on our Facebook page. The next one opens this Friday and runs through Tuesday. I have another project, https://maggiesboxermarket.com/ that I run year round with the proceeds going to rescue. We were able to provide a lot of help towards the medical bills of a sweet girl we fostered before she lost her battle with an awful autoimmune disorder. My next goal with the store is to be able to purchase a set of Eddie’s wheels for our special needs guy Franklin Dogginore Ruffsevelt. He was dropped or kicked as a baby and this resulted in a fractured spine and knee. He’s paralyzed in his back end, but he’s what they call a spinal walker. His neurologist felt that wheels would not be good for him until got older. Now that he is physically mature with the wheels we’ll be able to take him to the park with his sister where can run and run and run. All of my Boxer items are in the Collection “Just for the Boxer Lover.”
