Feb. 15, 2018 Hey again, Because you signed up for free recall alerts from Petful (formerly Pets Adviser), I wanted to let you know right away about an important update. The J.M. Smucker Company has announced a voluntary withdrawal of various flavors of both Gravy Train and Kibbles 'N Bits canned dog foods. This news follows independent testing earlier this month that reportedly turned up traces of pentobarbital — often used as a euthanasia drug — in samples of Gravy Train. Pentobarbital can be deadly when consumed by dogs or cats. –Dave at Petful P.S. I will be going LIVE on Facebook this evening to discuss all of the recent pet food recalls!
