Re: [boxer lovers] Puppy purchase contracts

I would think "common practice" would be understood that you paid for a puppy and since no one would pay for a dead pet puppy....

And if she still maintains you bought it so it was yours when it died, it was in her care and she should be sued for not taking proper care of it.

Subject: [boxer lovers] Puppy purchase contracts

Does anyone have a puppy purchase contract that specifically states anything about what happens if either party does not live up to the contract?

I am claiming, since the one things we DIDN'T have was a written contract, that there are certain understandings within the dog show communities and attorney's fees when someone welshes on a deal that it is accepted practice to sue for not only losses but attorney's and court costs. Since we had no written contract, but a verbal one, the argument must be that this is common practice and it is reasonable to assume all parties who work within this community know and understand that.

Any copies of your contracts would helps. Please, if you have the time, highlight the relevant sections. I know that is asking a lot but it saves me the time reading each contract to find the section. which would only take about 10 minutes. But, with maybe 20 contracts…..
