Re: [boxer lovers] Re: Posting ?

Karon, that is creepy.  I think maybe your right -- puppy could have been from another litter. How many times she used this "excuse"?  Yuck!  Creepy!!

Oh, apparently, she HAS proof, she kept the body of the little pup. To me, that was a really morbid thing and, perhaps something that was a planned move cause she knew I was going to be angry. Which was one of the things that led me to wonder if Mutiny had ever existed since she never used his or my name in the videos, always talking to "mom". I'm wondering if she has that little puppy in the freezer, how long she has had him there (previous litter?) and how long does she plan to keep him.

Perhaps also let the owner of the Dam know what went on.
So if she sent the Dam back now, your hope of even getting a puppy down the road is pretty scarce.
Otherwise, in a worse case scenario you could take a pick puppy and
simply sell it,  for your money back.
Now, it is also true that some Breeders will state in their Contract that in the event that '...for any reason....' the pup is not available for you - or  is not the pup you expected and there is a "full refund" in place, some will offer you another pup - which is 'fair enough' - value wise.  BUT if you don't physically want another pup, then when said pups are ready to go the Breeders should and would ethically sell the first pup themselves and give you the money.  It does not necessarily mean that you have to literally take a pup.  At least that is my Contract.  If I would be unable to provide cash back at the time, they would get "...at Sale of first puppy".

Now you are wasting time and you need to forget about all of what went before and get down to the Court house and pick up a set of Small Claims papers (It may be called something else in the USofA.  the Court Registrars are aways very nice and well trained to assist you.)
Picking up the forms should be free.
Filing them, is where you will need to pay a filing fee, but you add that amount into your Claim.
It doesn't hurt to sometimes put in a Claim for mental anguish, and also to question if the pup you wanted did actually die - ask for proof as you may think she simply sold it to get more money and figured you 'could not' do much about it.

I contacted the owner of the Dam. She had been leased to this girl on a Breeder lease. I'm wondering if the owner of the dam has any idea that her dog endured a late term emergency C-section with 4 stillborn puppies?

As we saw later, Karon said it was a show breeder.  Karon, I wreote to you privately but never heard back about knowing someone who might possibly help, but I needed more info, haven't hear back from you yet.

Also, on her web site does she show their AKC names with Ch in front of them, or show their pedigree on the site?  Many people "claim" to have pups of top winning dogs, but have absolutely nothing to back that up,ecause they don't.

If I lived in Alabama, I would be tempted to take this on.  What comes to my mind is -- did she ever really have any puppies?  On Craigslist, there is a scam that happens -- advertising a dog, cat, bird or whatever and the person just happens to be in a different state.  Then as part of this scam, they ask for $$ to transport the animal to you.  Seems that this person might be doing another scam

I like having the group. While I have been remiss, it is good to have the semi privacy to be able to talk and be open and honest. Like, about breeders who steal money. is thee anyone in Alabama who would be willing to act as my agent in a case? For health reason, I cannot travel. This woman stole nearly $1000 from me by selling a puppy which conveniently died at 5 weeks. Her opinion was, health 'guarantee' notwithstanding, I was just sol. Seems, in her world, if you pay for a puppy at 4-5 week you then own and are responsible for the dog at that young age. And should 'things' happen to young puppies, like, they mysteriously die, well, since she already has my money and her 'policy' is that she doesn't refund and, besides, it was my dog that died. Just as if the dog had been my dog who, at 5 YEARS old had died. Except of course, I had never even shared the state with this dog.

Besides the fact that it was already my dog and her policy was not to refund, well, her mother was a widow (of 5 years) and her brother was dead (car crash 7 years previous) and these tragedies entitled her to keep my money, as well….

I want my money back and any legal headaches and financial costs we can create for this little immoral, unethical creature are bonuses.

Any takers?

As much as I like Facebook, I want to still see these Yahoo groups continue, especially this one.  Someone needs to let FB people know these Yahoo groups are available for those who want to share things on them as well.
