I totally agree with Karon and Meagon. I forgot , Mine too does eat bones and skin and hair. Mine needs the bones for the calcium and fibre .After going raw mine had no more digestive issues. My one cant tolerate any kibble at all. Karon , my dogs tried some chicken jerky from the pet industry and all 3 got runny poop and blood really bad. It is just taking a while for people to learn about the raw diet. We all had been brain washed so long to fill some idiots pockets with money for kibble. Thanks for enlightening

Generally in the wild when a "dog" (read as 'dog' - - such as wolf) brings down a kill - a deer for example, the very first thing they will eat are the stomach contents = grains and grasses. Although our dogs do not revert to the wild, they still do require certain carbs from grains in their diet to aid digestion. Yes, too much and of the wrong kind are just pooped out - and also an abrupt change of diet will cause your dog to poop a lot of the new food out until their system adjusts. otherwise, yes, the over abundance of grains in pet food are simply fillers.

So while certain grains in limited amounts are important, too much would be harmful.

Remember too, that dogs should not have a 100% MEAT diet; they are domesticated animals and have been for thousands of years. They require a well blended diet,the same as we do. Be aware that TOO HIGH of a Protein diet is harmful– not beneficial. A proper protein blend, derived mainly from fresh chicken should be between 21 and 25%. High activity dogs require the higher protein but puppies do not require super high . . become a label reader."
