Animal And Company: [boxer lovers] update on Laila that sweet senior boxer girl I posted about a few weeks ago

Great news to share.... at the very last minute Laila was saved by Sachi Animal Rescue. She's had her surgeries to remove the mammary tumor and MCT and was also spayed. The biopsies are back and prognosis is really good since they were able to get very clean margins and they were low grade. Her vet bill with rescue discount was still a little over $1,500 and we've raised just a little over $1,000 already for her. She does need one more surgery to remove the growth in her ear so we will need to raise funds for that too. She has a lot of fans, so I'm sure we'll be able to do it. The ear growth is completely benign (caused by untreated ear infection) but it's growing so it needs to be removed before it starts causing her pain. Here is a link to her petcaring page
