Re: [boxer lovers] water

Not only does the, 'rather drink from a dry bowl' make me wonder, but I also wonder how one of my boxers managed to find some long tough grass under 3 inches of snow on a 8 degree morning.  Eat it and make it inside to be sick on the kitchen floor.  Guess they work at it
I asked my vet once why dogs eat grass  he said. "Did you ever walk outside on a warm spring morning and smell the grass or fresh mowed grass?  It smells great to you, it is the same for a dog."  My answer. " Yes but I didn't eat it."

I have 3 boxers and 6 water bowls.  3 in the kitchen in those 2 bowl holders.  3 in the enclosed porch, doors always open.  All bowls filled morning and evening.  Can not figure out why Gemini will go to the same bowl always.  If it is empty and the others with water she will lick the empty bowl rather then drink out of one of the others.  She did it yesterday.  I heard the bowl rattling on the porch and sure enough one bowl was full, one had water in it, she was drinking nothing
