There's times when puppies will look ribby. Especially when they're going thru growth spurts.

Strictly speaking, yes, every puppy is different. Your puppy should be
gaining height and weight as he ages. He should not be ribby nor roly
poly. Some days he may look a complete wreck from his growing spurts (my
Peter, as he'd have growth spurts overnight, would have an ear that
seemed to come out of the top of his forehead -- until it caught up and
'moved' back to the right place.)

Without knowing the size of the parents, it's hard to say just what your
puppy should weigh at any point.
