My dogs are seniors so they may need a little less but my male is 82 pounds he gets 2 cups a day plus his treats. The females are 60 and 63 pounnds and get the same. They look great, vet said at the best weight now and should not put on any more. They were very under weight when they came to me as rescues

7 cups is alot. My 80 lb adult male doesn't even eat that much. Try a higher quality food. |

| Lucas's Daddy was not a huge boy, but he has the same beautiful brindle markings and was a very lovable and active boy. Momma was a very dark brindle, looked almost black. She was a big girl, very calm and laid back and very sweet. Lucas eats well, about 7 cups of food a day, I definelty see he is growing, He has never been roly poly, always has been on the lean side, probably cause he is never still unless he is asleep. Even then he moves about. |
