Re: [boxer lovers] boxer talk

Harley will grumble in the morning until I get up.  Once I get up, then she thinks she needs to go grumble my dad awake.  If I have my bedroom door closed and Ellie wants in, she will scratch on the door three times.  If I am on the computer and Harley wants outside, she will again grumble at me until I get up and let her out.  At meal time Ellie will come stand in front of me and just stare or she will come over and put her paw in my lap.  Sometimes, she will do that then walk over and look up at the kitchen cabinet. That means she wants peanut butter. Ellie doesn't talk, but Harley is very vocal.

My 2 girls will come into my computer about 10 minutes before it is time for me to feed them. Sometimes they will jump up and down or bark gently (is this possible?)  so that I will go out and get them fed a little earlier. Then there are the times when I can ask one of them a question and will get an answer. Which usually involves me getting up and going out into the rest of the house with them. Almost shade of Lassie, for those old enough to remember her.

Just wondering, do your boxers talk to you, and talk and talk.  Yukon can mumble and grumble even shake his head for what seems like very long times.  If he really wants to get his point across and I don't seem to be understanding he fake sneezes.    It can mean he wants to be fed early, or he can't find one of his favorite balls.   It can also mean he wants me off the computer.  That is his goal tonight.
