Re: [boxer lovers] Max went to the Rainbow Bridge today

I know the pain you are suffering.  I have lost my soul companions and best of the best friends over my long life and it never ever gets easier.  I only take comfort in understanding the love I received and the lessons i learned on how to be a better person. from my 4-legged friends.
It will get better.  It takes time and we then will be blessed to have the memories to sustain us.
Be happy that you had the opportunity to share life with your wonderful Maxie.  You will never replace him, as you already know, but having a new dog in your life will help you bear the loss a little easier.

This afternoon I lost my beloved Maxie. He was 13, and had been with me for over 10 years.

I plan to adopt another Boxer before too long.

Regards to all,
