Due to overwhelming public concern regarding the Circa Virus, which at this point has caused a couple of dogs' deaths in only two specific areas of the State of OH as explained in the article at http://www.cleveland.com/healthfit/index.ssf/2013/09/new_virus_may_be_infecting_kil.html ,
GO Boxer Rescue is sad to say that the decision has been made to postpone our Boxer Bash which was scheduled to be held at Triangle Park in Dayton on September 28. Again, please read the article to help ease your minds. If it wasn't for the outcry of public concern we would not be postponing the Boxer Bash, but for the Bash to be enjoyable for all, it is necessary for both people and their dogs to feel as though it is not only fun, but also safe, to attend. Please make plans to join us next spring! The Boxer Bash is tentatively scheduled with the City of Dayton for Saturday, May 3 at Triangle Park. Watch the GO Boxer Rescue web page and Facebook page as well as our Twitter account for updates as they come.
We were so looking forward to visiting with everyone and their four (maybe three) legged family members on the 28th. Without all of you we couldn't continue to do what we do, save the lives of the way too Boxers in need of help and new homes.
