Hi Anneli,
What did your vet say? My younger girl had a couple of pretty bad allergic reactions, so we were very cautious with her vaccines. She had her last DHPP at about 5 months and reacted to that, so we were very nervous about the rabies vaccine. I worked with our holistic vet on the vaccines. We separated the DHPP from the rabies by two week. Dr A said that while rabies is rare, it's out there so she did need the vaccine. We just did her booster a few weeks ago and Dr A said the rabies booster one year later is also needed (for the dog, not because we're worried about the law). For her DHPP we did titers and she showed good immunity so we didn't have to do boosters with that one.
It is always a good idea to do vaccines separately because if the dog has a reaction and had several vaccines at once, you won't know which one he/she reacted to.
