I know you will enjoy your new boxer. I have 3 senior boxer rescues. They are so much fun and easy to love. They are the clowns of the dog world to be sure. With a mastiff named Simon have you thought about Garfunkel, Gar for short? Mine are Bella, about 10, Yukon and Gemini, brother and sister around 7.
My oldest daughter has a 183 pound Bull mastiff, Dozer. He is about 8 and starting to show his age I am afraid. He had a knee replaced when he was 3 and I think it is starting to give him trouble.

books like children and dogs should be loved,
Literature is my utopia,
It is the beginning of the end of a society or family when they no longer take care of their young or their old

Hello, I am picking up a boxer puppy Monday night. I have a few questions on my new baby boy.
How much should he be eating?
is it ok to feed him puppy food? I ask this because I have had Mastiffs for the past 16 years and I always feed adult food so they would not grow to fast.
what is the general weight of an 8 week old puppy?
how fast should he be growing?
I have not decided upon a name yet, I need my new baby to help me with that.
I have thought of
Zeke, Tyler, Zachary, Stanley and Milo, which ever name I choose it has to yell well with Simon( Mastiff).
thanks for letting me join, I am not new to dogs, but I am new to Boxers.
My little guy is a brindle and white pup.
Pat, Simon and the new little one
