Spotting Dolphins Off Our Coast

Volunteers of all ages braved the rain to help record dolphin sightings at four locations along the Eastern Shore of Maryland—at three beach locations in Ocean City and one at Assateague State Park. This year, 113 dolphins were sighted! Learn why the annual dolphin count is important.

Dart frogs are intriguing animals. In addition to their bright colorations/patterns and ability to produce toxins, they also have an interesting life cycle. Dart frog tadpoles will progressively metamorphose into these full-fledged froglets.
