Blacktip Reef: One Month To Go! We can't wait to show you our newest exhibit, Blacktip Reef, a light-filled, colorful re-creation of an Indo-Pacific reef opening July 10, 2013. Blacktip reef sharks will speed by as a 5-foot-wide whipray's massive fins rise and fall. Darting fish will hide in the coral habitat as an ornate wobbegong shark lies camouflaged on the reef bottom. We're Ready To Release Our 100th Rescued Animal! Any release is a cause for celebration, but this one is extra special. We're celebrating the release of our 100th rescued animal! In the last 20 years, our team has rescued, cared for and released a variety of species to their natural habitats. This Saturday, join us at Point Lookout State Park in Scotland, Maryland. We are releasing Duckie, Bender and Williard, numbers 100, 101 and 102.
