Hi! All of mine (2 boxers, 1 high-allergy beagle, 1 older rat terrier) are on the following:
1 tbsp plain yogurt, 2 1/4 cup of kibble (science diet), a sprinkle of meat tenderizer, small amount of SD canned and a bit of warm water to make it into a bit of a gravy...this amount for the boxers - the smaller dogs get less, of course. But they get that 2x a day.
Meat tenderizer = deters fecal eating
Yogurt - helps with digestion and has made a HUGE difference in the amount of methane in our home
This recipe is just something I came up with. My dogs eat it well, have normal stools, very little to no gas, their coats absolutely glisten and their skin is excellent, too.
My beagle is on a prescription diet - very expensive - but he also gets all the other goodies I add to everyone elses.

Subject: [boxer lovers] Re:lMy 6 mo. old boxer
Hi I have a 6 mo. old boxer . Most days he gets 1 cup of kibble and 2 other 8 oz. meals of raw meat .He has had 2 puppy vaccines and no rabies shot as of yet. He weighs 45 pounds and has lots of energy. .He seems to have a very sensitive stomach with the raw food. Any suggestions?
