Re: [boxer lovers] IBD

A breeder friend of mine came up with a (equine) treatment for coccidia
PONAZURIL. She got hers from a compounding pharmacy in NJ (NOT the one
recently in the news that has been closed). I'll share if you want to
privately email me

There's also a "cocktail" for colitis/IBD that you should run by your vet

68mg Baytril
375mg Clavamox
500 mg Flagel

2x/day for 21 days.

As to food ... believe it or not, when Cooper was having so much
problems to the point where NOTHING was enticing him to eat with his gut
acting up, I brought home some meaty raw bones that he instantly grabbed
and ate. He handled raw beef best until I finally lost him (his colitis
was FIERCE).
