When my sister brought her daughter to my parents' for the first visit,
she spread a blanket on the floor in the family room, put her daughter
on it and called in our boxer. GiGi walked in rather carefully, took one
look at that little person ... and promptly curled up with her. Easy
introduction of dog to baby.

The problem arose when my sister quite ridiculously thought she should
be able to take her baby home .... GiGi presumed my niece was a gift to
her.
