RE: [boxer lovers] Teaching Dogs to Drive

The point of the experiment is to test the limits of what shelter dogs CAN learn. This is designed to show that shelter dogs can be trained. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks, essentially, and to [rove that with a little love, time and patience, these dogs, no matter their age, can be trained. To live in your home, to be service animal and anything in between.

And to remind people that, no matter what you want, what kind of dog you want, if you simply want a companion, there is nothing at all that should stop you from adopting a shelter dog. If you are looking for an animal to extend the breed, either to house a non show pup from a show litter or to actually sponsor a show dog or to raise a breeding dog FOR show dogs, that is a different story. But, other than those three, most dogs are purchased for companion purposes. And a shelter dog would do the job beautifully!!!
