Ok, if you have only had her a couple of weeks, it may just be a change over
issue. Possibly what you are feeding her is not what she was weaned to eat.
That happens.
Second, find some real food. I'm sorry but, Purina is probably one of the
worst dog foods on the market.
Now, everyone here knows I am a staunch advocate of raw foods. I have fed
mine raw for about 9 years and I LOVE it! but, there are other good foods
out there. The higher percentage of actual meat involved, the better the
food is for the fog. One made with any kind of grain, corn, riche wheat,
that is NTO dog food, those are ingredients for larger piles of poop in your
back yard. Your dog cannot digest those things and they will only create
more cr@p, literally) that you have to either walk around or pick up.
Now, you vet is going to tell you to buy some high priced designed dog food
that he just happens to sell in the front office! Remember, the majority of
his nutrition education was sponsored by Purina or similar 'dog food'
companies. Most of which make a high priced designer bag into which they
pour the same dog food available at Wal Mart and charge 5 times the price to
sell. Half of which goes to the vet.
So, do some research and learn what is best for your pup. I'm not going to
ask the origins of your pup. If she is from a reputable breeder, we're
talking one that did real health tests on both parents covering hip, heart
and maybe eyes and the parents have show points or field points, then ask
the breeder. If the dog was sold with 'papers' and the vet testing consisted
of a few puppy shots and a tail dock, I would say do some more research and
learn the best kinds of nutrition. Read a bit on the origins of the species
and try to feed them according to what they are. Remember, a dog is not a
vegetarian so feeding the veggies isn't a great idea.
All that being said, not all dogs can eat the same proteins. Some DO have a
problem with raw meat, some have a problem with any kind of cooked meat,
some cannot eat certain types of meat like fowl or red meat. So, I would
start with one food and, like any baby, feed an exclusive diet as you learn
which foods are OK and which are not.

I've had her for two weeks, and she's not starving, she's just really picky,
and she already had her shots and worming when I got her so there wasn't a
need to go to the vet yet.
