We're raw feeders too, and it has done wonders for my girls. They are
healthy, happy, and enthusiastic about meal time. My 13 year old boxer girl
had virtually given up eating and was losing weight big time. When she did
eat, she would usually throw her kibble up 12-18 hours later in exactly the
same shape it had been when she ate it, plus whatever water it had absorbed
in the meantime. Seriously, little round kibble shapes would come back up
completely undigested.

Now she gobbles all her food down, licks the bowl clean, and begs for more.
No more pukies, and her poops are no bigger than a cocker spaniel's, plus
she only poops once every other day or so. That alone lets me know that her
body is able to utilize her food much more efficiently than the kibble.

Raw seems a lot more complicated and expensive than it really is. You just
need to remember that dogs don't need veggies or grains, and feed meat,
meat, more meat, and a small amount of bone and organ. We usually feed for
an average of 50-75 cents per pound, and feed just over a pound a day. So if

you do the math, i'm actually feeding the absolute best food for my dog for
about the same as what i'd be spending on grocery store grade kibble, and
i'm avoiding all the vet bills associated with feeding bargain basement dog
food too!

I feed raw and find they do not eat very much and are very satisfied. I
switch proteins often, everyday something different like chicken, turkey,
beef, salmon, pork, buffalo, tripe.
