Oooh. Don't get me started on "safe" city water! Starting with Wise, my
adopted cocker (his humans were moving to England) then onto Peter and
then Meg, every dog into the house has developed thyroid problems! I had
suspicions. Used filters on the water tape, but standard "home filters"
don't do enough. Once Meg showed up with the thyroid problem, I REALLY
REALLY dug into it and discovered FLUORIDE!!!!!! can cause thyroid
problems. Lovely. To save out teeth (what, all toothpaste out there
except speciallly purchased ones DON'T have fluoride?!?), we're
poisoning ourselves. So. We moved to 100% usage of bottled SPRING water.
I don't use the "drinking" water because it's just tap water. Meg
doesn't like her meat refrigerator cold, so I use hot water to warm it
... bottled Spring Water heated in an electric tea pot!
