What a great idea -- homemade treats.
Oh.
Wait.
Meg is allergic to Peanuts / Peanut Butter, Eggs, Pumpkin and barley.
LOL -- other than that perfect. I did make some "homemade" horse treats
that all the dogs seemed to love ... Cooper couldn't have had them
because they contained shredded carrots but Meg could (she's allergic to
green peas -- one of those "high end" carb "fillers" in Top Shelf dog food).
I do like the idea of all of us making as much of our dog's treats and
food as possible. I'm tired of reading time after time of some processed
food, pet or human, being recalled AFTER it's been on the shelf long
enough to a lot of pets and people have already been affected. And I
refuse to buy anything being used by my dog from China. If it's possible
for Meg to put it in her mouth (and that's about everything), it does
NOT come from China. They've already shown they have no worries about
poisoning our pets, our children ... their punishment is harsh but
obviously for getting caught, not for doing it.
