Re: [boxer lovers] Re: button tumor

Any tumor has the chance to become cancerous. When one pops up fast and grows quickly, if it isn't already cancerous, it's well on its way. The Benadryll Tagsmet treatment is NOT a cancer cure. It IS a tumor shrinker.

I read a little about tagament and it doesn't look too bad. She is on prednisone for 10 days. I might dare to ask vet to put her on tagament after that and see what happens.
Are all mast cell tumors cancerous? I think this is the driving factor for me to get treatment and for the doctors to treat it surgically. Because they can analyze the grade of the tumor only after removing it.

I later used tagament/benadryl on her and the "lump" went away. Prednisone is the cure all drug with horrible side effects when used on a long term basis, Brit took it for 8. I also have a friend who used the tagament/benadryl and Reign also had a lump go away. I have never heard of any side effects from this. Sherry also checked with her vet before starting this on Reign and she said it can't hurt. I have seen first hand what prednisone can cause, and its not pretty.
