Re: [boxer lovers] Heartbreaking decision....

Don't be an idiot
If you are a 'real' Boxer person and not a scam, here is the order of my
personal requirements prior to buying a dog:
I would need to know.:

# 1. *FIRST if he is available to even consider as a stud potential.(is he
intact, or altered of course! and is he Registered? and so on*
2. Once I knew that he was available as an intact male I would *then *require
a copy of his Pedigree, Registration, Ownership and *then* photos from ALL
angles, which would show me his structure, size, weight, colour, and
'type'. I would never start out asking for photos right off the bat!!
What if he is altered or not registered or or or??? Geesh lady!
3. I would then require his* health testing* - heart, hips and eyes
4. If all of the above passed muster - I.e. he was intact, he was the
correct *colour, size, disposition *and so forth - *and his pedigree would
compliment what WE breed for,* I would then CONSIDER him to add to our stud
program. CONSIDER being the operative word.
If a single issue was *not* in line with our strict requirements, we would
continue looking elsewhere.
There is no point asking for pictures and all of the above information if
the dog is altered! A waste of the owner's time as well as my own.
I offered this possible choice as the dog obviously needs to find a new
home; I would BUY the dog at the current price for a breeding, male Boxer
of top quality. This was simply an idea to perhaps save a dog that may
otherwise have to be destroyed as not too many people are looking to buy an
older dog, preferring instead to raise their own puppy.
You obviously know nothing about dogs.
Our own Boxers are not kennel dogs, but rather, an integral part of our
family (just my husband and myself now.) and live in our home, as part of
our family.
FYI we have been breeders for nearly 40 years and have a 100% positive
resume.
