Personally, I wouldn't wait to have it removed. A needle aspiration isn't always spot on, I know this because a tumor that Oakley had on his side showed it was fine, I opted to have it removed, it was a MCT that was a cancer.  I just get so mad at these horrible life threatening things being taken for granted, it better to be safe than sorry.  I don't mean to be judgemental, but I've lost both of my boxers to diseases that many vets take with a grain of salt.

Thank you for the informational article. Billie`s mast cell tumor was analyzed by our vet. He did the needle aspiration a couple weeks back and the results came back benign it is on her elbow. It has been there a couple monthes so far and has not changed at all. She is 4.
